5. New Army Look; If you were an Army Warrant Officer, expect to see some changes. the W-5 rank will change to reflect the other branches of service. Also now Warrant Officer will not wear Warrant Branch insignia but Insignia of the officer field.

7. Global War on Terrorism Medals approved; Individuals who have deployed to operations Enduring Freedom or Iraqi Freedom will be awarded the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
